Now, for a little whining. Normally, I hate whiners, especially people who whine that they didn't get enough comments on their last entry, when they usually get well over a hundred. (okay, about half of them are replies to the comments, but dammit! That's still a lot of comments!) But the fact remains, the last chapter I posted I got no comments. Not one. Not a single one other than a person I know is posting coments on everything posted in her comm. The post before that? ONE COMMENT other than the person commenting on everything in their comm.

I think what it boils down to is, if you are reading it, enjoying it, hating it, PLEASE COMMENT! Let me know what artistic merits I lack, what I can improve on, what I should stay away from, what I'm good at, what I'm doing well at compared to my earlier attempts at fanfic, anything! I'm feeling a serious lack of lovin', and my muse is suffering because of it. You want to know the ending, don't you? I know I do! PLEASE comment!

I just started my newest WIP! It isn't going to be like my last WIP (not nearly as dark, for example) but it'll still have moments of heavy angst and I will be extremely careful to keep the warnings accurate. I'm trying something brand spankin' new, and I'm all apprehensive and stuff.

The first chapter is needfully long (seven pages, oi!) But every chapter thereafter will be markedly shorter. Trust me, I couldn't cut this without the damned thing making no sense (or by cutting out a REALLY HAWT SCENE!).

This is it kids, the wild ride is over! Shattered Shards draws to a close. I have an idea for a sequel but will probably not write it for a while. I feel like this story is finished and I have other projects I'm working on. I'm starting a new Spander fic which will be more angst then dark, but don't worry faithful readers, I'll still be keeping the darkness comming in with drabbles and ficlets until I post the first chap of the next part.

Thanks to tamakin for staying with me on this entire ride. Thank you muffin for sticking by me and helping me grow!!

I hope everyone who's been reading enjoys this finale and really wouldn't mind hearing some comments on the story as a whole or just individual parts.

As a celebration of completing my FIRST EVER story (I have never in my life finished a story, and I have been writing stories for personal enjoyment since I was in grade two. BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT for me. Also, this is my first ever fanfic. So... this story is important to me.

I had ideas to write a few chapters of prequels, or add a few like what Angelus REALLY does to Dawn that night, or what happened to Spike after Buffy passed out, or... other equally fun ideas and maybe I still will, but I don't think that many people are reading it so it's not that big of a drive to get them out of me.

People asked for a sequel, so here it is, and I can almost guarantee it's not what people were waiting for. I've cut it in two different places. The whole story (well, this part) starts at the first cut (obviously) but it's mostly talking about their touristy romp through good old T.O. and the second cut is where the story part starts. As a bit of forwarning, this is more of an exploration into Xander's submission then into the act of sex itself. Those of you out there who are kinky and have played with loving partners might recognize a bit of the dizzying feelings Xander goes through.
